About the role -

Carmel College is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic educator with the ability to lead others in the area of Learning Enhancement.
  • This is a full-time continuing teaching appointment, with an initial appointment as Middle Leader to the end of 2026.
  • Two subsequent three-year appointments as Middle Leader will be offered following a successful performance review.
  • This a Tier 4 role under the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement for Diocesan Schools Queensland.
  • The Tier 4 Leader Learning Enhancement is an integral member of the Learning & Teaching Leader group and College Middle Leadership Team.
  • An ability to teach Religious Education would be highly advantageous.

  • An ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents,
  • An ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and a clear understanding of curriculum.

At BCE our teachers are required to:
  • Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
  • Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
  • Have a commitment to Safeguarding

If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.
We support all teachers with Accreditation to Teach pathways after you start with us.
