The College is seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Learning Enhancement Teacher (Extension & Enrichment) – Primary to assist in our Primary campus. Reporting to the Head of Primary through the Deputy Head of Primary Teaching and Learning and The Head of Academic Talent Development (P-12), the successful candidate is responsible for the delivery of gifted and talented programmes, ensuring that our academically high achieving and high potential Primary students receive the appropriate support and accommodations to enable them to flourish.
To be successful, you will:
- Develop, implement, and monitor extension and enrichment programmes that cater to the unique needs of high ability and high performing students.
- Work closely with the Primary through the Deputy Head of Primary Teaching and Learning & the Head of Academic Talent Development (P-12) and Primary Learning Enhancement team to support teachers in delivering differentiated and modified curriculum that caters to diverse learning needs.
- You must have current QCT registration
- You must have a tertiary teaching qualification with a specialisation in, or experience with,high ability and high performing students.
- Demonstrated ability with leading the coordination of gifted education programs.
- Demonstrated capacity integrating extension learning and teaching strategies into a school’s curriculum and units of work to enable the growth of student learning.
- A high degree of organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to the Anglican ethos of the College.
