About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
To be the successful applicant you must
  • possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or Diploma/higher level qualification in adult education;
  • have experience in delivery of LLN&D training in a range of adult learners (preferably indigenous and/or ESL);
  • be flexible and resilient to adapt to challenges of working in remote communities.

Special Conditions
  • The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS);
  • there will be a requirement to be relocated, travel to and work from other campuses within the agency on a needs basis;
  • Remote long distance 4WD driving is an expectation of this position;
  • Managing one’s health and wellbeing for working and living in a remote and isolated location is an expectation;
  • Some out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential;
  • Active participation in TAFE SA Performance and Development Program;
  • Eligible to work in Australia;
  • Satisfactory working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry;
  • Will need to have a current National Police Clearance to obtain an APY Lands Permit.
