About the Position
The Lecturer in Accounting and Finance is responsible for developing and delivering Accounting and Finance courses at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels; provision of academic leadership in teaching, research, and business development; and maintaining relationships with professional accounting associations, with a view to assisting their development needs.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Professional qualification in Accounting (CPA or Chartered) with experience in the industry at the executive or managerial level.
  • Understanding and appreciation of principles of equity in the workplace.
  • Be a highly effective classroom teacher in Accounting/Finance with an ability to engage in curriculum development and assessment in the
  • Accounting and Finance program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills engaging a wide range of audiences, and successful experience in collaborative endeavors; with the capacity and willingness to work effectively and consultatively as a member of a team.
  • Experience in delivering superior teaching outcomes, knowledge of the principles of effective teaching, and demonstrated interest in the development and use of on-line learning and teaching pedagogies and practices. 
  • Demonstrated high-quality research outputs in ABDC journals.

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Research Active Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $110,500 - $130,649 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $129,285 - $152,859 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
