In this role, we seek colleagues with demonstrated potential for excellence across the four domains of academic work: Teaching; Research; Supervision and Researcher Development; and Citizenship and Service.Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Teaching – We seek skilled and enthusiastic teachers with a commitment to inclusive classrooms and to outstanding pedagogic practices across curriculum and assessment design and the student experience. In this role you will develop, co-ordinate and deliver courses in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs.Research – We seek researchers with a focused research agenda and demonstrated capacity to produce high quality research outputs, a commitment to pursue research funding opportunities, build external partnerships with relevant stakeholders and to undertake collaborative research, including with interdisciplinary partners.Supervision and Research Development – We seek colleagues with a willingness to undertake high-quality Master and HDR supervision. At Academic level B, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $108,201 - $128,201, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $126,595 - $149,996 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.The greater of joining the UQ community are broad: from being part of a university, to recognition of prior service with other Australian universities, up to 26 weeks of paid parental leave, 17.5% annual leave loading, flexible working arrangements including hybrid on site/WFH options and flexible start/finish times, and genuine career progression opportunities via the academic promotions process.About YouPhD in Political Science or International Relations.A focused research agenda with a demonstrated record, relative to opportunity, of publishing innovative research in high quality outlets.Capacity to develop Category 1, 2 and 3 grant applications.
