People2people Recruitment are currently working with a medium-sized Corporate and Commercial Law Firm on an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary in the Property team looking to advance their career in the legal space.
The Role:
As a Legal Secretary, your work involves a lot of writing, from transcribing meetings to correspondence, memos and legal paperwork. You also proofread legal documents before mailing them and filing clients' paperwork. As a Legal Secretary, you are a vital legal team member since you ensure the department runs smoothly. You perform administrative duties and support lawyers with legal research and schedules.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience working in a Law Firm.
- Exceptional multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Top-tier verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with legal systems/software desired.
- Experience in Disputes Resolution desired.
- Ability to foster professional relationships.
- Proactive work ethic.
Open to considering candidates who are studying a Bachelor of Law online with capacity to work full-time hours.
