Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the market leading Sedgwick Liability Team as a Liability Adjuster who has a few years experience and wants to progress their career to the next level.  Fast track your career either in a technical capacity or with an eye on future management, with the support of the world's largest loss adjusting firm.

What are my accountabilities?

  • Attend upon policyholders, claimants and incident scenes to investigate liability insurance claims.
  • Proactive communication with the client and customer about initial findings and potential solutions
  • Ability to manage claims and stakeholders and to drive outcomes
  • To have the customer and client at the centre of everything you do

About you: 

  • Previous experience in general loss adjusting or sound insurance claims handling background will be considered
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles and procedures for processing insurance claims
  • Knowledge of claims regulations and legislations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • High level of empathy and emotional intelligence
  • Keen eye for detail, problem solving and analysing skills
  • Have a growth mindset 
  • Legal or Trade Qualifications are advantageous
