Librarian | APS 6 equivalent level

I am working with a Government organisation to find a Librarian.  

The successful candidate will either be offered a permanent position (salary range, depending on experience: $74,904 to $93,809) or a contract from April 2024 until March 2025. 

Joining a small team, you would be required to:

• Provide reference and research services 
• Provide client services including document supply, cataloguing electronic and physical resources, collection maintenance and administrative tasks
• Provide support for library projects
• Perform rostered service desk duties
• Promote library services using virtual and traditional marketing tools

In order to have your application considered, you must:

• Be a Librarian, holding a relevant Accredited degree in Library and Information Science recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association
• Have experience working within a library environment
• Be experienced and confident with presenting training to different-sized groups of stakeholders
• Be experienced with developing online training modules
• Have the ability to deal with people from different backgrounds
• Have completed a police check within the last 6 months, or be willing to undergo a police check (you will not be able to commence until your police check is completed)
