- Degree or Graduate Diploma in Library & Information Services recognised by the Australian Library & Information Association (ALIA) or equivalent
- Experience working with young people in a library or educational setting
- Current Working with Children Check number
- An enthusiastic interest in literature for young people and a passion for promoting literacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in technology and emerging trends in library services.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
