The Position
The Library Supervisor, reporting to the Principal Library & Museum Services, will work collaboratively with the Library and Museum Team and Customer Service Team to achieve consistently high-quality customer service.
The incumbent will provide effective leadership and supervision of library and customer services at Innisfail Library, and other locations as required.
Key Outcomes
The Library Supervisor will contribute the following outcomes:
- Customer focused and progressive library and customer service is provided consistently
- Library team is supported to carry out activities in line with library service standards and customer service requirements
- Library programs and events are inclusive and innovative, attracting new audiences through the provision of excellent customer experience and community engagement
About You
You will have a diploma in Library and Information services or commensurate qualification or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience and be eligible for a Queensland Blue Card. You will have proven experience and a commitment to excellent customer service, a demonstrated ability to work with and support a high performing team.
Additionally, you will have experience in collection management, knowledge of Library management systems and broader software applications.
