SLSQ is looking for a motivated Lifesaving Officer to provide efficient reporting assistance to the Lifesaving Services Manager and associated lifesaving operational personnel

Key Responsibilities:
- To assist with the preparation of correspondence and other communications
- To coordinate grant funding meetings and grant opportunities on behalf of SLSQ
- To tend to grant-related administration matters and maintain grant funding records, resources and databases relating to lifesaving operations
- To assist with the procurement of lifesaving gear and equipment in relation to funding
- To maintain registers of all SLSQ grant allocations and acquittals as well as of government funding and the reconciliation of grants
- To ensure lifesaving drowning statistics are up to date and lifesaving reports are reviewed
- To coordinate the collation and completion of all statistical and accreditation reporting
- To maintain the quality assurance auditing and compliance schedules and administration
- To provide reception relief
Key Skills & Experience:
- Working with Children Blue Card (Essential)
- Good computer knowledge with high competency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in dealing with corporate governance
- Strong administrative skills
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in dealing with confidential/sensitive matters
- Sound problem solving skills

Surf Life Saving Queensland employs over 600 people throughout Queensland. SLSQ is an efficient and vibrant organisation servicing 32,500 members. It was formally established in 1930 and is the governing body for surf lifesaving in Queensland, comprising 57 affiliated surf lifesaving clubs in six regional branches.
