ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance Department is experienced and well-resourced to support the Mt Magnet mill, a 2.0 Mtpa gold processing plant and they are seeking a LV Mechanic to join the team. Working 8 days on, 6 days off, the team fly in and out from Perth or bus in and out from Geraldton in company time.
We have an established, comfortable camp in the regional Murchison town of Mt Magnet which provides access to a community swimming pool, local shop and other facilities. The team have an authentic and welcoming culture, they enjoy their work and take pride in contributing to the success of the Ramelius story.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the LV Mechanic will be responsible for:
- Maintain the Ramelius fleet of Light Vehicles and water bore generators.
- Assemble new parts as per manufacturer specifications.
- Facilitate vehicle inspections, diagnose faults, and schedule repairs.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and order new parts as necessary.
- A medium level of computer literacy to utilise the CMMS maintenance System Pronto onsite.
- Ability to work remotely and autonomously.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, we would like to see;
- Trade qualification in Automotive (Light Vehicle)
- Minimum 2 years post trade experience
- Automotive Air conditioning Certification
- Experience working on 4WD vehicles.
- Experience with replacing brakes and suspension components.
- Experience with diesel engines.
- A West Australian C class driver's license (manual) and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance purposes.
