The Northeast Auto Group is expanding again…. and this time we are coming to Whyalla!
Our BRAND NEW SsangYong Dealership is almost ready to open in Whyalla, and we have multiple opportunities for energetic, switched on people from the local community to join the team.
As Light Vehicle Technician you will play a critical role in the success of the workshop. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will e responsible for repairing, serving and reporting of Light Vehicles in line with industry and company standards.
Day to day you will:
- Analysing and diagnosing mechanical problems;
- The planning of jobs and ordering the required parts;
- Identify any additional works that may be required;
- Completion of all paperwork regarding work performed;
- Maintaining a commitment to safety in the workplace.
About you
- Trade qualification in Light Vehicle mechanics (essential);
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified Light Vehicle mechanic (essential);
- Driver’s license (essential);
- Diesel experience (desirable);
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent time management, organisation and prioritization skills.
