Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature and time sensitive freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs.    Today we employ over 1600 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 2 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight annually across the country.   About the role:   Lindsay Transport is currently seeking MC Linehaul and Shuttle Truck Drivers based out of our Wagga Wagga depot. Our drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods. This role demands a high level of skill, expertise and experience in operating a commercial heavy vehicle  may include loading and unloading plus reasonable waiting times.   We have casual and full-time positions available. The locations the driver will be travelling to will predominantly be Sydney to Wagga Wagga one week, Melbourne to Wagga Wagga the next week, Sydney day time and Melbourne night time. Monday to Friday with some weekend work.   About you:   The candidates we are looking for will have: A current MC drivers licence and experience in this licence class Experience driving B-Doubles Possess fatigue management training competency A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential) Previous refrigerated transport experience Reliable and punctual with good communication skills A strong customer focus Flexibility with start and finish times To be successful in this role, applicants must: Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test Provide a current traffic print out Be prepared to work weekends as required Be well presented, professional and reliable If you are a driver that takes pride in their work and is looking for a stable long term career in transport we encourage you to apply for this role.   At Lindsay's, we believe in investing in the future generation.
