About the role

We are seeking applications from qualified and experienced Electrical Transmission & Distribution Lineworker's to join an established team based in Laverton North. The roles available will be responsible for completing public lighting.

Key duties/Responsibilities

• Perform all works associated with our electrical linework construction, maintenance and public lighting contract within budget, and in a timely and safe manner.
• Ensure all equipment including vehicles, plant and materials are kept clean and well maintained.
• Replace existing lamps as required.
• Provide timely reporting as required on work progress, quality standards and work practices.
• Replace existing streetlights with new LED lights in a timely and safe manner.
• Receive and complete work using an iPad.
• Be innovative towards and actively participate in improving construction methods.
• Ensure the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance are achieved.
• Maintain good customer relations.

 Skills/Experience

• Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead or Australian equivalent.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• High Risk Licences (Elevating Work Platform, Dogging and Rigging).
• Victorian Lineworker Registration.
• A current MR or HR Drivers Licence.
• Current VESI Skills passport with up to date training is advantageous.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Attend pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.
