We currently seek experienced Liquid Hazardous truck drivers to join our team!
About the position:
- Perform loading and unloading of liquid waste across a range of waste streams: septic, industrial waste waters and packaged wastes.
- Maintain a professional image of the company and deliver high quality customer service at all times.
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety check on vehicle and/ or equipment as and when required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner.
- This is a casual position with review to go permanant.
- Monday - Friday afternoon shift only.
About you:
- Class 2 or 4 or class 5 licence (NZ) which ever is applicable.
- Heavy Rigid (HR) licence Minimum
- Current dangerous goods licence, not essential (essential in NZ and AUS if required to carry dangerous goods)
- Knowledge and experience in the transportation of dangerous goods.
- Vacuum loading - ideal.
- Own reliable vehicle for convenience of early shift starts.
You are a self-motivator with strong waste industry knowledge and a mechanical aptitude.
