As a Litigator, in our Office of the Chief Tax Counsel business area, you’ll manage multiple complex litigation and dispute resolution cases, undertake research, prepare court documents and correspondence, and advocate as required. You’ll liaise with legal stakeholders, manage timeframes and appear in legal proceedings and hearings in tax technical, debt recovery and administrative law matters.
You will work autonomously and as part of a team to manage a range of litigation and legal advice cases, while supporting senior litigators on more complex matters. You’ll assist the team to improve litigation practices and policy, technology and reporting changes.
You will share knowledge and actively contribute to the professional development of less experienced colleagues.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Perth or Sydney CBD.
