We are seeking a live-in Manager with a genuine love of hospitality who has the maturity and skills to welcome both domestic and international guests with warmth and ease. You will have excellent communication skills and presentation and consistently set an example in respectfully guiding our team to meet the owners' standard expectations and ensure a superior guest experience.
The ideal candidate will be able to confidently step into a variety of roles as the need arises.
This position manages the day-to-day operations of the Front desk, Housekeeping and Guest Services. The Guesthouse Manager creates and implements policies and procedures that will establish 28 Degrees as a premier destination. This position is primarily responsible for managing room inventory, maximising hotel occupancy and profit through rate optimisation, and supporting and communicating sales and marketing efforts to staff and quality guest service. We expect this candidate to be computer literate and experienced in hotel administration.
The position has managerial authority and decision-making discretion with respect to goals and incentives. The Guesthouse Manager will develop quarterly department goals, with the Owner, and will guide the staff to ensure action plans are implemented to achieve them.
