CoreStaff are proud to partner with our client, Queensland Nitrates Pty Ltd (QNP) in offering these positions available in their Despatch team.
  
Queensland Nitrates Pty Ltd (QNP) operates a chemical manufacturing plant in Central Queensland.
The fully integrated ammonium nitrate facility is designed to produce 210,000 tonnes per year of explosive grade ammonium nitrate and provides a strategic resource to help sustain the competitiveness of Queensland’s mining industry.

Role summary & Accountabilities
  
The role is highly flexible performing all activities required to operate the loadout facility safely and efficiently, duties include:
  • Loading product for despatch via the QNP load out system
  • Operate site front end loader
  • Operate forklift
  • Operate site truck (HC) for container loading/unloading
  • Perform administrative duties for the despatch office including preparation of transport documentation
  • Operate the Despatch bagging unit
  • Assist with minor and major shutdowns across the operations as required
  • Assist with other duties across the plant
  • Onsite emergency response team member (training provided)
  
Qualifications & Experience
  
  • Manual Australian Drivers Licence – essential
  • Ability to attain a SSAN clearance (security sensitive ammonium nitrate) – essential
  • Sound computer skills
  • Training will be provided for required licences; however, it would be advantageous to have the following:
    • o HC Licence
    • o Forklift Ticket
    • o Previous experience operating a Front-End Loader
  • Clean-shaven for Emergency Response Team (ERT) purposes – essential 

 The successful applicants will have a commitment to workplace health and safety, be a team player and able to work unsupervised.

Relocation and initial accommodation assistance will be available and negotiated with the successful candidate.
This is a residential role.
The successful candidate will need to reside in the Biloela/Moura area.
