Locum Consultant Psychiatrist - Older Person Mental Health Services

The Role:We are seeking motivated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrists to join a great supportive team in the Canberra region.We are looking for Locum and Permanent doctors at this facility.This position will be attractive to highly skilled and motivated medical professionals who view challenges as opportunities and is driven by a passion to improve healthcare in the complex world of modern health systems.About You:

• Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Fellow with Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (essential)
• Provide high level of quality clinical care
• Demonstrated high level of professionalism and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Hospital:There is five adult Mental Health inpatient units across Canberra Hospital

• Adult Mental Health Unit (AMHU)
• Mental Health Short Stay Unit (MHSSU)
• 12B Low Dependency Unit (LDU)
• Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit (AMHRU)
• North Canberra Hospital Acacia Adult Mental Health Unit and Banksia Older PersonsMental Health Unit
• Dhulwa Mental Health Unit (DMHU)
• Gawanggal Mental Health Unit (GMHU)
