SalaryOur client is seeking an ongoing locum VR General Practitioner for their medical practice based in a beautiful coastal town near Bairnsdale, Victoria.

About the practice:
This clinic delivers a range of health and community development services to the Indigenous and wider community population across Gippsland. The clinic currently has 1 part-time doctor, 3 days p/week (Mon- Wed), who is currently on leave, and a locum permanently working Thurs - Fri. They are well supported by nurses, a Chronic Disease Care Coordinator, 2 Aboriginal Health Practitioners, medical admin and reception staff and driver. They also have a range of visiting specialists and allied health professionals. Seeing a mixed Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal demographic, from young families to the elderly. Some of the main health issues you will experience in this varied role include; complex health conditions, chronic disease, diabetes, mental health, and some AOD. TAC/Workcover, family medicine, women’s health, men’s health.

- No on call or nursing home requirements
- 9am - 5pm / Monday to Friday
- 20 minute appointment times

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
- Vocational Registration as a General Practitioner
