Locum GP, Mid Devon - 4 months

Background -
A quintessential rural Devon practice in mid Devon require a locum GP for upto 4 months. A small but growing practice offering the chance to practice modern medicine in a progressive setting but with traditional surroundings and a genuine community feel. The practice have received back to back outstanding CQC reports balancing exceptional patient care whilst keeping work/life balance their primary focus.
The practice dispenses to around 60% of its patients and is very high-earning, with the Practice willing to offer a view to Partnership for the incoming GP.
Salary - £700-£750 per day
Location - Crediton area, 30-40 minutes from Exeter
The surgery -

Your role -

• Upto 8 sessions - Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri - these days can be split
• Very reasonable workload - 23 patient contacts per day
  • AM clinic
    • 6 online consultation slots
    • 4 x 15-minute F2F
    • 5 x 10 min slots
  • PM clinic
    • 4 x 15-minute telephone
    • 4x 15-minute face to face
  • Coffee break every morning
  • Minimal visits (typically one a day for the practice and done in turns)
  • No dedicated Duty Doctor - Paramedic leads triage with support from GPs until 10am
