The Logistics Administrator / 12-month contract will report to the Supply Chain Manager and key responsibilities include:
- Carry out packing, crating, and shipping of all finished products to customers.
- Responsible for receiving stock and put away for items ordered for the workshop.
- Ensure materials are appropriately stored.
- Take a leading role in QA/QC processes prior to dispatching items (training will be provided).
- Create delivery notes of materials prior to shipment.
- Booking & coordinating transport services.
- Assist in carrying out inventory checks and counts as required.
- Oversee material import movements from key suppliers. This includes coordinating with shippers for accurate documentation, requesting for shipping quotes from freight forwarders and tracking in-transit shipments.
- Respect and promote QHSE objectives and follow all site-specific safety protocols.
- Be an active team player of the Supply Chain team driven to continuous improvement and value addition to the business.
- Help with any other reasonable requests made by manager/supervisor.
We're looking for a hands on team player to join the Supply Chain Team. The successful candidate will possess:
- 12 months experience in a similar role will be viewed favourably.
- An understanding of logistics operations and practices.
- Must have a good understanding of MS Office applications (particularly excel at a strong competency standard).
- Ability to establish and preserve productive partnerships with clients, service providers, suppliers and co-workers.
- Must be able to plan, prioritize, and manage own activities and office workflow even when working under tight deadlines.
- Must be open to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities that may require extended hours from time to time.
- Valid LF Forklift license (desirable but not essential).
- Valid Drivers License with own transport essential.
