Farnese Australia is a national company with its HQ located in Ingleburn, Sydney. We are industry leaders in the design and manufacture of a variety of machinery for the Stone and Woodworking industries. We also supply Tooling, Consumables & Equipment to these industries, and provide Transport Logistics for the delivery of slabs of stone to our customers.
We currently have an opportunity for a highly organised and motivated person to join our company at TQ Stone Products in our Logistics Division, as the Logistics Co-Ordinator as well as some administration responsibilities as required on a full-time basis. TQ Stone Products is currently located in Forrestdale, with a relocation to Malaga to follow in the coming months.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful applicant will be a team player, whilst being able to work autonomously. You will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a high level of proficiency in PC operating systems. We are looking for a highly organised person, who is a good problem solver and has high coping skills when faced with potential customer pressure situations.
The role:
As a member of our Logistics Team the key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Receive, process, and manage customer orders received via email or phone call.
- Answer customer queries and deliver exceptional customer service by phone, email, and face to face calls.
- Organising and managing the daily Logistics Calendar for our two Logistics Drivers.
- Closely working and communicating with the Logistic Drivers on a day-to-day basis, to ensure smooth and successful operations of the Logistics Division.
- Administration duties and assisting with data entry where necessary.
The candidate:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills, attributes, and experience:
- Current Drivers Licence
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications advantageous
- Commitment to accuracy, details, problem solving and follow ups
- Prioritise workloads in a busy working environment with logic and calm and
adaptability to change. - Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to communicate well, be a self-starter and work closely with a team of people locally and in other states.
- Logistics and Administration experience preferable.
