Based at our newly improved Torquay store the position of Delivery Driver will join the logistics team providing outstanding service to our customers. This role will suit a motivated individual who is a forward thinker and has a safety focus.
This is a full time Monday - Friday role working 7am - 3pm and the successful candidate will be offered a permanent ongoing position with the opportunity to build a rewarding career.
What will you be doing?
- Delivering building materials, both timber and hardware products to our customers which frequently requires a hand unload
- Ensure deliveries arrive safely and on time as per customer requests
- Liaise with both internal & external customers
- Ensure all outgoing orders are delivered in accordance with our business standards
- Assisting in other areas when required to ensure the smooth running of the deliveries
Does this sound like you?
- Hold a current MR Licence
- Previous proven experience in a similar role, an excellent driving history
- Current Fork Lift Licence - beneficial
- Timber knowledge advantageous
- Comfortable with technology
- The ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Motivated - A desire to challenge yourself and show initiative in your work.
- Physically fit as the role is physically demanding.
- Reliable - Reliability is an integral part of the role.
- Have a Can Do attitude
