Avenues McDowall is a beautiful 75 place centre which is located in a quiet street of McDowall, next to a creek and parkland. The Role
We are currently looking for a hard working Cleaner to join our team of friendly Educators on a Permanent Part Time basis. Opportunities to transition into an Early Childhood Educator role for those interested and willing to study.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning of office, staff room and classrooms, foyer, bathroom for staff and children, lunch rooms and other areas if needed.
- Deep cleaning as required
- Respect and support colleagues by developing positive and ethical channels of communication that are based on principles of mutual respect, equity and fairness
About You
- Commercial cleaning experience preffered
- A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card) or willing to obtain
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Friendly disposition with a can do attitude
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
