Luxury Rainforest Retreat Housekeeper

We are a high-end multiple award winning Rainforest Retreat located in Montville, Sunshine Coast Hinterland.  It is a family owned and operated accommodation business. We are seeking a housekeeping team member who has high attention to detail and enjoys working in a beautiful rainforest setting.  Experience is preferred but not essential. Candidates must be available to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster between 10:00am and 2:30pm/3:00pm.  You will receive approx. 15-22 hours per week.

Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat is award winning  boutique accommodation business based in picturesque Montville.  We have eight beautiful villas and run very high occupancy and therefore have guaranteed hours of work, normally between 10am and 3pm.

We use biodegradable/ organic cleaning products that are friendly on the environment and nice to use.  We supply all cleaning products and equipment.

You must be strong and fit to perform the role. 

We are happy to have a worker on our pay role or if you prefer contract work we are happy for that option as well. 

We are seeking someone who enjoys their work and is looking for medium to long term employment.

Your duties will include:

• Provide a complete cleaning service including vacuuming, dusting, wiping, washing, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing
• Complete any unexpected cleaning or additional cleaning
• Manage stock and products within the Cleaning Department
• Ensure cleaning is completed with particular attention to furniture and fixtures, steel work, mirrors and glass, curtains and drapes, floors, walls and ceilings, lamps and light fittings.
• Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines and manufacturer’s specifications regarding storage and handling of equipment.
• Report any problems or faults with cleaning equipment to Supervisor
• Be conversant in and actively support the Company’s “Vision, Mission, and Value Statement”
• Maintain company standards of dress and appearance
• Understand and adhere to  all workplace policies
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned
