The Opportunity
Do you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? If so, we want YOU to be a part of our team at Centurion Transport, Helidon! We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our Workshop team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will work to ensure the roadworthiness of Centurion's trailers in a timely and efficient manner.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on trailers to ensure roadworthiness
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with precision
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and maximize fleet efficiency
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address and resolve complex problems
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs conducted on each trailer
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times

- Ability to work with all types of trailing equipment with limited supervision
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good organisation and planning skills
- Competent communication and written skills
- Ability to comply with company procedures and policies
