AddressWest Coast Pallets is one of Perth’s leading manufacturers of pallets and crates, having successfully operated since 1996. We are located in Bibra Lake with 35 team members operating over 2 shifts from Monday to Friday. With a focus on safety, team culture and continuous improvement we have a fantastic core of reliable, committed, and driven people on our team.
Due to the ongoing growth of our business, we are adding to our team. We have Full Time and Casual roles available for both day and evening shift and are looking for great people to join our team. All required training will be provided and we are focused on recruiting people with a great work ethic and positive attitude.
This role will involve the following:
- Operation of various machines and equipment including, our Pack Docker and Pallet Machine.
- Manual handling of materials, equipment and finished products.
- Operation of a forklift to move packs of timber in the yard and into pack docker.
- Measuring of packs of timber to cut them to size on the pack docker.
- Maintenance of workstations to keep work areas clean and safe during a shift.
To be successful we require you to:
- Be reliable and hard-working.
- Be physically fit and able to work in a high-paced environment.
- Have a positive attitude and can work both individually and as part of a team.
- Experience working with measurements of materials in some way.
- A current forklift license.
- Previous experience working with a nail gun and saws as well as working with timber is also desirable.
