Machine Operators/Production Worker

Narangba location, working for a reputable steel manufacturing company, ongoing opportunity

Skillforce Recruitment is currently recruiting for our valued client based in Narangba. Our Client is seeking reliable, dedicated, experienced Factory Hands, Machine Operators, Forklift Operators. These roles are mainly day shifts but afternoon shifts could be available pending on workload later in the year.
Hours are: Monday to Thursday, 5am to 1:30pm and Friday, 5am to 11:30am
These positions will not suit Restricted Visa Holders or Student Visa Holders as our client could potentially be offering Temp to Perm positions. Must be Australian citizens, Permanent residents or NZ citizens only.
Machine Operators / Production Workers
The role

• Operating hand and power tools
• Must have previous manufacturing experience - Steel/Metal industry would be highly regarded
• Valid Forklift Ticket - Desirable but not essential
• Overhead crane experience would be highly regarded but not essential
• Basic spot welding - training provided
• Experience with operating machinery

Must have:

• Reliable transport - no public transport close to site
• Able to work Monday to Friday
• Looking for long term opportunity
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical
• Can do manual lifting up to 20kgs
• Can handle working in a hot environment
