Industry respected Company seeks a mature person to be based in our store in Islington. Their primary role is the service and maintenance of Mobility products including wheelchairs, beds and scooters.
Formal training in repair and maintenance of electrical products such as mobility scooters, hoists and electric beds is not essential but an affinity towards electrical componentry is preferred.
Training and Work Vehicle will be provided.
The duties of this role include:
- Preventative maintenance of mobility products such as Wheelchairs, Scooters, Beds, Lifters etc. in Nursing Homes, Group Homes and private residences
- Repairs and general servicing of products
- Assembly of products where required.
- Delivery of products where required.
- Liaising with customers
- Ordering parts
- Troubleshooting
While initially your role will be mainly technical you will also be required to promote our products and services if the opportunity arises.
The Candidate should have the following skills and attributes:
Mechanical/electrical knowledge is preferred.

Other Requirements:
A current valid driver's license
Proof of Covid-19 Double Vaccination
Proof of Flu Vaccination
Employment includes 6 months' probation period.
A police check, a NDIS Worker check and Working with Children Check will be required.
Prior to starting employment, you would be subject to a health and medical check, this includes drug and alcohol testing.
