About the Role:
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Participate in maintenance, capital, non-regulated, and external works
  • Ensure infrastructure is safely maintained to a high-quality standard in accordance with reliability and maintenance practices.
  • Display work management discipline, to capture and report all required maintenance data accurately and promptly in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • All planned and unplanned maintenance to be carried out within allocated timeframes as per scheduled work plan.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, innovation, and performance monitoring
  • Maintain and support strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to maximise service delivery.
  • Lots of opportunities to work overtime.
  • Must be willing to participate in an on-call roster (1 in 5)
  • Must be willing to work away from home as required (meal allowance included)
Skills Knowledge and Experience:
  • Relevant heavy vehicle license (HC preferred)
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and in a team environment
  • Understanding of work health and safety and the ability to manage safety and risk
  • Ability to analyse technical operational problems and recommend appropriate solutions while working under limited supervision
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ccompetent with computer and software applications
  • Competent with the use and maintenance of static and mobile machinery, hand, and power tools
  • Demonstrate skill, awareness and knowledge on water quality, wastewater, and environmental procedures, native vegetation, and land management practices (desirable)
  • Experience running and/or managing small projects (desirable)
