Key Responsibilities:
- Daily management of maintenance requests, ensuring the arrangement of necessary parts for corrective work.
- Coordinate on-site contractors, guaranteeing compliance with company policies and project expectations.
- Collaborate with PM Planners and Schedulers for effective weekend work planning and smooth handovers.
- Guarantee 100% availability of spare parts for all planned maintenance activities, optimizing plant reliability.
- Utilise and maintain the MEX system for tracking work order status and adjusting maintenance plans based on operational feedback.
- Engage in effective communication with all stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors, to facilitate the timely execution of maintenance tasks.
- Champion health, safety, and environmental practices, contributing to the overall wellbeing of personnel and the workplace.
- A solid background in the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Open Office, and general computer skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Over 5 years of experience in planning/reliability roles.
- Relevant planning/scheduling training or qualifications.
- Familiarity with the MEX system is an advantage.
- A trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
