Your opportunity
The Roads, Drainage and Marine Maintenance unit have multiple Maintenance Crew Member positions that have become available. This is a great opportunity for you to become a part of the City Operations Group. As our Maintenance Crew Member, you will undertake highly skilled and complex operational maintenance services on Council's assets.
Guided by our Values, you will:
- Deliver highly skilled and complex operational maintenance services, under limited supervision, in an efficient, effective and timely manner, this will include the use of asset management systems to receive, capture and disseminate defects for remediation. This will include being flexible and adaptable to deliver services which will include civil, marine and vegetation assets across Redlands Council.
- Communicate with both internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner to achieve positive outcomes for the Group.
- Actively participate in and promote a cooperative team-based approach within the Group to create an attractive, equitable, harmonious and productive workplace.

Eligibility
- You'll hold Current Class 'C' Drivers Licence
- Successful applicants will be asked to consent to a police check. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically barred from applying for this position. Each application will be considered on its merits.
- You'll have the ability to participate in the after-hours on-call roster, including remote response and site-related operations over weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis.
