Day Shift 6am - 6pm. 3 - 4 days a week of 12 hours shifts equalling full time permanent hours with longer weekends.
In these hands-on and fast paced roles, the successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the Electrical Supervisor and wider Operations team to minimise plant downtime and optimise production efficiency through diagnosis, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems.
What you'll be responsible for:
• Identifying, planning and implementing productivity initiatives and projects to effectively reduce downtime and improve OE and plant optimisation (of electrical systems)
• Ensuring electrical preventative maintenance and system checks are completed to schedule and in a timely manner
• Diagnostic/repair work to resolve breakdowns
• Providing diagnostic and troubleshooting support of PLC systems (Allen Bradley, desirable)
• Ensuring that all electrical equipment and installations are safe and compliant to WHS and Quality standards
• Updating all electrical/engineering and other site documentation required
• Involved in plant preparation for planned maintenance shutdown work
• Ensuring all plant and site equipment is operational and ready for production start up
• Ensuring all your preventive and corrective work is diligently documented in the CMMS - MEX
What you’ll bring to the role?
• You’ll have an Electrical Trade Qualification (Australian certified – Review some of the current adds on level?)
• Minimum of 5 years qualified experience within an industrial environment. Food manufacturing or other FMCG preferred.
• Strong exposure and understanding of PLC based control systems and networking is desirable.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills – you are great at keeping everyone in the loop!
• Accountability – you confidently make (and own!) your decisions and can be counted on to do what you say you will.
• Positivity and a solutions-focused approach- nothing is ever a problem!
• Initiative and ability to self-motivate
• Commitment to Quality and Health & Safety and ensuring that best practises are followed in the workplace

• Exposure to Computer Maintenance Management Systems – (MEX desirable but not essential)
