We seek the services of experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Clayton team in an ongoing role for an ASAP start.
Shift Details:
Shift timings - 7am to 3:30pm
The hourly pay is $58.91 per hour
Duties of Electrician
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading, repairing electrical and electronic components as well as operating various machinery throughout the entire plant.
- Working on the production line performing quality testing and ensure that all manufactured products meet required standards.
- Provide electrical support and fault finding with the view to perform electrical works around the plant when not working on the line.
- Regular maintenance of machines
- Responsible for operating and maintaining all shift production related areas.
- Troubleshooting breakdowns and stoppages
- General housekeeping and maintenance of production areas with a strong focus on WHS
The successful applicants must have:
- Trade Electrician Qualification - Cert III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) / A Grade Electrical License - essential.
- Significant experience in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG is a plus.
- Proven ability to work in a high speed / fast-paced production line environment.
- Proven commitment to WHS and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to assist in the day-to-day efficient running of plant machinery.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to follow tasks and take directions.
- Be physically fit.
