Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Electricians to support our projects throughout South Australia.
As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including motors, switches, circuits, and control panels.
- Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical components, such as wiring, conduits, and lighting systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with a team of electricians and other professionals to ensure project success.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Utilize various tools and testing equipment to identify and address electrical problems.
Qualifications:
- A valid Electrical License issued in South Australia.
- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician in an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards.
