Founders, Adam and Belinda MacDougall started The Man Shake to help everyday men get into shape. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to manage the maintenance operations at our manufacturing facility, based in Richlands.
You will report to the Head of Operations and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by overseeing maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
This is a hands-on position to manage maintenance activities on day shift, and managing a team of maintenance professionals, including a Maintenance Fitter, who is a dedicated resource on afternoon shift, and an Electrician.
You will be responsible for
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs to minimize production disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the maintenance team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology.
- Oversee the implementation of new equipment installations and upgrades, including coordinating with external vendors and contractors.
