- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including lubrication, inspection, and adjustment of machinery.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify any potential issues and implement measures to improve machinery efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Day shift 7am-3pm.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.- Strong knowledge of automated machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience in injection moulding machinery is highly lucrative.
- Proficient in conducting troubleshooting and repairs on machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with PLC systems would be advantageous.
