The Opportunity
Bridgeman Downs Retirement Village is a close-knit community set amongst beautifully maintained gardens and grounds in Brisbane's northern suburbs. Home to 180+ independent retirement living units & apartments, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our gardens and grounds throughout the village. Working closely with our residents, you will ensure our gardens and grounds are well-maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy. If you enjoy being outdoors, take pride in garden & lawn presentation and enjoy chatting with residents, this is a great opportunity for you!
We have two opportunities to join our team of Gardeners:
- Full-time working Monday-Friday 7-3pm
- Part-time working Wednesday-Friday 7-3pm

You will
- Be responsible for the maintenance of all village gardens including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching and green waste removal
- Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors
- Carry out preventative groundskeeping tasks around the community as per schedules
- Complete additional adhoc tasks delegated to you by Community Manager
- Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well-maintained areas.
What you'll bring
- A warm & caring personality with an interest to make a difference every day
- Experience in Gardening duties (highly desired)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)
- Valid driver's licence (required)
- Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
