An exciting opportunity exists for a full time energetic and motivated Maintenance Person / Handyman to work within our modern aged care home in Reservoir. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
In this role you will:
- have previous building and grounds maintenance experience,
- perform general maintenance tasks across the home and grounds,
- have a strong focus on ensuring a high standard of work,
- maintain compliance with a scheduled building and grounds maintenance program, providing a safe and attractive living environment for all of our residents to enjoy.
About you
- Demonstrated experience as an all-round handy person with solid skills in repairs, gardening and maintenance jobs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
- Proven customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with residents
- Outstanding communication skills
- The ability to work in a team environment or autonomously as required
- Reliable, friendly and professional manner
