Our OpportunityLocation: Solomon mine. Fortescue's Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi people.Roster: 8 days / 6 off - days only FIFO ex PerthWorking as part of the mobile maintenance team this role requires a meticulous and knowledgeable individual who is adept at conducting thorough inspections and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in a dynamic mining environment on heavy mobile equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive inspections, testing, and audits on mobile plant equipment to ensure operational integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Generate meticulously detailed reports pertaining to inspections, testing, and audits, providing clear and actionable insights.
- Utilize advanced inspection and testing equipment, gauges, and measuring devices as necessary to perform NDT and auditing tasks effectively.
- Leverage expertise gained from qualifications and experience to evaluate plant and machinery compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards, particularly adhering to WA regulations and standards.
- Offer technical support and guidance on compliance matters to stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications and Experience- Possession of AICIP or API510 certification.
- Experience working with heavy mobile equipment used in mining
- Profound familiarity with all pertinent Australian Standards, including the Work Health Safety Act 2020, Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022, and Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations 2022.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong report writing abilities to convey findings accurately and comprehensively.
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and a dedication to meeting deadlines consistently.
- Unrestricted right to work in Australia.
- Possession of a current C class manual driving license.
