ABOUT THE ROLE
We currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our head office in Wangara. You will lead our Maintenance Control Department and a team of Maintenance Controllers to effectively manage our fleet.
This role will suit an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager who has extensive knowledge in the fleet industry including all fleet maintenance logistics and is looking to join a privately owned company where they can make a difference.
Every day is different, but your day-to-day duties will include:
- Manage high-level relationships with all suppliers to implement technology advancements and resolve all outstanding issues. This also includes ensuring supplier invoices are processed within agreed timeframes and payment terms are met.
- Act as the first escalation point within the organisation for client and supplier related issues and develop and implement strategies which are focused on achieving client satisfaction.
- Proactively initiate regular meetings and health checks for our customers on their maintenance portfolio, with the aim to improve our service and their savings.
- Negotiate with dealers, repairers, manufacturers, and national suppliers to ensure all warrantable repairs are conducted. Maintain effective records and report on all warranty instances and outcomes.
- Effectively lead, motivate, and coach an experienced team of Maintenance Controllers ensuring we maintain our customer focused culture. Ensure the team have a clear understanding of their role and responsibilities and assist them to maintain an effective workload distribution with a focus on results.
- Identify and effectively implement business improvement initiatives to enhance the Fleetcare customer experience.
- Establish and manage processes to ensure that all vehicles are maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, client specific policies, using Fleetcare preferred suppliers at agreed rates as well as monitoring and proactively following up where there are vehicle downtimes.
- Monitor incoming calls to ensure they are answered within agreed KPI’s.
- Manage and maintain our comprehensive electronic maintenance fleet management record system and work closely with Fleetcare management to ensure all client agreements are accurate and up to date and reflecting correct information on our systems.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
To be considered you will ideally have:
- A passion and commitment to providing outstanding customer service and to go the extra mile for our customers.
- Demonstrated ability to actively manage client relationship communication and conducting of regular client reviews.
- Demonstrated management of large multi-tiered supplier network.
- Excellent problem solving, negotiation, planning and time management skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to success with positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain a comprehensive electronic maintenance fleet management record system such as Salesforce or similar CRM software and well-developed computer literacy skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and data analysis experience.
- A proactive attitude towards supporting the Maintenance Controllers who work full-time across a flexible shift pattern between 5am-5pm WST Mon- Fri
