Our Role

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planning & Inventory Specialist for our Attunga Limestone Plant, located 15 minutes’ drive north of Tamworth.  Reporting to the Production Superintendent you will be responsible for the management of the inventory onsite to ensure parts are available and in optimal condition and ensuring inventory accuracy.

This position will require you to: 

• Support the Maintenance team to plan for scheduled and daily routine mechanical and electrical maintenance activities to avoid unexpected stoppages, rectify faults or recover from breakdown.
• Maintain inventory of critical maintenance spares and consumables within the warehouse to exceed the Graymont standard.
• Review reorder quantities and place orders.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on inventory items as per the work order.
• Create job kits for maintenance work order tasks.
• Provide and receive feedback by conducting and participating in regular safety observations.

To be the successful candidate, you need to will have:

• excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft programs. 
• relevant years of working experience and identifiable achievements in a related field.
• experience in applying an ERP system to manage inventory. 
• a strong customer and team focus.
• a valid forklift ticket.
