About the Role:
As a qualified Plumber, you will be an integral part of our service crew, working on several sites and national contracts. This is a Fixed Term Full Time position for 12 months, servicing both metropolitan Melbourne and country Victoria, with occasional interstate travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls and on-call jobs promptly and efficiently.
- Install and maintain water supply systems, identifying and repairing issues such as leakages.
- Conduct backflow prevention, device inspections, and servicing.
- Perform inspections and servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV) and Zip units.
- Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, pipes, faucets, etc.
- Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems, including air-conditioning units and radiators.
- Ensure proper installation and functioning of waste disposal and sanitary systems with DWV systems.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, keeping stakeholders informed of service progress to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Provide support to Leading Hands and Director/s as required.
Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following prerequisites:
- Successfully pass a National Police Records Check.
- Hold a current and valid Victorian Driver's License.
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Plumber.
- Possess excellent communication skills and a high level of motivation.
- Present yourself professionally at all times.
- Demonstrate a strong focus on customer service, meeting the needs of clients.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Be able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
