Programmed Facility Management are seeking an experienced an experienced Maintenance Plumbers to join our Port Hedland / Pilbara Team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides maintenance services to over 18,000 public housing dwellings for the Department of Communities, including Aboriginal communities in remote locations throughout the State.

Reporting to the Branch Supervisor, the Maintenance Plumber is primarily responsible for general maintenance and reactive maintenance of our contract's facilities.
Duties include:
- Perform general and reactive maintenance throughout the facilities.
- Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings and drainage systems.
- Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing and plumbing emergencies.
To join our team, you will be a qualified Carpenter who has experience in a domestic or commercial environment, has excellent attention to detail and a strength for delivering a high quality service without compromise. The incumbent is a key person within the Team, promoting staff morale while displaying a “can do” and “Team Player” attitude. Additionally, you will provide first-class customer service whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself and others at all times.
Additionally, you will possess:
- Certificate III in Plumbing (mandatory)
- G Class WA Gas Plumbing License (desirable)
- VALID C Class and HRWL (LF) License (mandatory)
- Australian Working Rights
- Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
- First Aid training and Trade based competencies (desirable)
- Advanced Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Workorder Management Software (Loc8) and Safety, Payroll & Training requirements,
- Ability to work in a Team; be a self-motivator and take instructions.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills.
- Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, at all times.
