About the role
Playford Plumbing and Gas are seeking an experienced domestic maintenance Plumber and Gasfitter that aligns with our values and has a passion for the trade.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in domestic maintenance and renovations, who can work autonomously and takes pride in their work. You must have a desire to learn and grow with us. You will also posses exceptional communication skills, high attention to detail, take pride in your workmanship and a positive attitude.
In return, we will supply you with a fully maintained and fitted vehicle, attractive rates, phone and iPad, uniform and extra bonuses if you perform at a high standard. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for the right candidate.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following minimum requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a qualified plumber
- Knowledge in fault finding and gas servicing
- Knowledge of working in the domestic maintenance field
- Knowledge of working on domestic renovations
- Hold a current South Australian Plumbing and Gas fitting license
- Hold a current driver’s license
- National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
- DCSI Child related and aged care screening (or be willing to obtain one)
- White card
Desirablerequirements that may set you apart from other applicants, include:
- Project management experience on renovations from start to completion
- Experience in Quoting
- Excavator licence
