The main objective of the role is to maintain plant equipment through effective store management along with the planning & scheduling of Preventative Maintenance work. You will plan in accordance with manufacturer & site maintenance department recommendations with a focus on upholding safety and maximising production in the Mechanical & Electrical Operations of Visy Board Wodonga manufacturing facility.

What you will be doing:

This position has six main areas of responsibility:

• Preparation for preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment.
• Maintain the maintenance stores.
• Work as a member of the maintenance team.
• Plan for the work scheduled for the maintenance department & external contractors.
• Monitor, Report & Forecast Cost Control of R&M maintenance budget daily / monthly.
• Site HSE and Compliance.

What you will bring to the team:

• Experience working in a store and warehousing environment.
• You will have experience maintaining an effective spare parts maintenance program for plant and its equipment.
• Experience managing parts and work orders and scheduling jobs.
• Experience working in a production environment where downtime and waste targets are important and part of your role.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience ‘working on the tools. It would be useful but not necessary, to have a relevant trade qualification.
• Have experience with computers and strong knowledge of Microsoft office suites including SAP.
• Hold a Forklift ticket (Essential).
