THE OPPORTUNITY
About the role
Location: Kilcoy - Monday - Friday 6am
- Perform operational stock purchasing activities for the efficient supply of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials to enable the delivery of business outcomes as a result of minimal downtime due to maintenance related issues.
- Ensure an efficient and professional information flow from Maintenance Purchasing across the site and externally
- Participate in meetings and forums internally and externally in relation to Maintenance Purchasing functions
- Liaise with site contractors conducting business on site as directed by the Facilities Manager
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the organisation to ensure seamless supply of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials
- Liaise closely with Maintenance Stores Officer, Facilities and Engineering teams to deliver best business outcome.
- Ensure that purchasing costs are minimised and daily updates are done and sent to manager
- Ensure Registers Maintained
- Carry out daily Maintenance Purchasing activities, ensuring all registers are maintained and daily budget updates are done and sent to manager.
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of Work Instructions and SOPs across functional responsibilities of the stores and procurement
