ConocoPhillips’ Australian headquarters are located in Brisbane. Our focus is supplying Australian customers with natural gas and international customers with liquefied natural gas. We do this through our 47.5 percent interest in the Australia Pacific LNG joint venture, one of the largest producers of natural gas in eastern Australia. ConocoPhillips Australia also operates the Australia Pacific LNG liquefied natural gas facility near Gladstone. We are also an exploration company, with ongoing exploration occurring in the Bowen and Surat Basin in Central Queensland and new exploration in the Otway Basin along the southern coast of Australia to identify natural gas reserves for supply to Australian customers.
Based at Curtis Island, Gladstone and reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Superintendent, the Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor, Planning & Scheduling will enable maintenance productivity at the Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) facility by ensuring that routine, day to day maintenance work is adequately identified, scoped, prepared, and scheduled, including the maintenance and planning of the 7-day locked schedule and 5-year time horizon.
The Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor, Planning & Scheduling will lead, mentor, coach and ensure the technical and behavioral development of the maintenance, Planning & Scheduling team, including, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Support and empower the maintenance, Planning & Scheduling team to deliver a planned, permitted and execution ready weekly maintenance schedule.
Ensure the 52-week, 16 week and 5-week scheduling processes are delivered.
Ensure work management processes are fully adhered to at APLNG, acting as a site-based champion for maintenance Planning & Scheduling.
Drive maintenance planning efficiency through the central storage and re-use of job plans and equipment data / documentation.
Support Major Maintenance Events team to ensure scopes are identified and the weekly scheduling processes support event execution.
Thorough analysis of metrics to identify efficiency and effectiveness improvements of teams and processes.

The position of Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor, Planning & Scheduling presents an exciting opportunity for maintenance professional to sink their teeth into a site based, operational role with a global oil and gas company.
You will bring a genuine interest and experience in managing and developing teams, coupled with a drive for continuous improvement and a commitment to operational excellence.

Mechanical or Electrical trade with 10+ years of experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning in oil & gas or related industry
Strong supervisory experience of Planning & Scheduling personnel and teams
Strong SAP Planning & Scheduling experience (SAP PM, PS, MM, Prometheus)
Demonstrated ability to develop and interpret work management key performance indicators
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and analyze priorities and plan conflicts
Demonstrated ability to communicate across all areas of the organisation including a proactive approach to building and maintaining key relationships
Ability to live and work in Gladstone, and commute to the APLNG facility on Curtis Island via ferry Monday to Friday
